Heh, the tricks i use to getgood shots are:

1) Be dangerously stupid. Taking a camera to the beach is ok. Taking it into the ocean is asking for it.

2) Take a ton of shots. I shoot hundreds of pics hoping that a dozen may be ok for sharing.

3) Take things at angles. Head on shots are the usal. This makes for touristy shots, ones that feel unnatural and set up. Avoid these if possible. Life lives in angles.
